Maya has started rolling over....she's been sitting up for the last month but just recently - she rolls! She also had her 6 month check up (okay I am really late as she had it the last week of March) but then she was 17lbs 5ozs and 26" long or short...whatever you wish! She is still a very short baby as compared to Gage or Emma and she is getting so sweet (depending on who you ask!)......I wonder what Amy or Ashleigh would say about that? hahah Also, she has cut her first tooth. It was the week before Easter and yes it is sharp! She is now cutting the one next to it!
Easter was lovely. We got about 4 inches of snow in Springville. Somehow, the Bunny still managed to make it and "kick out" all the eggs we dyed. I am not sure why Emma is confusing "hiding" with "kicking out" but that is what she is telling everyone! She & Gage really loved finding all those eggs and we only lost one! Which actually will be a huge deal soon - yes they are hard boiled eggs!
Emma has also decided to sit in Maya's bouncy chair......your guess is as good as mine on this one! She also loves taking Maya's socks and wearing them either as gloves or she shoves her feet in them too. She also wants to eat Maya's baby food. I find this really annoying because she NEVER ate baby food as a baby....all she wanted to do was nurse! Maya does like it (the baby food not sharing with Emma).
Gage's class at school performed an opera called "The Missing Ingredient." It was so cute! They made up the whole concept and lyrics and painted the scenery. Gage was a zombie - but he refused to wear toilet paper. He said it was embarrassing and lame and he refused! Luckily, his teacher is a gem and said it was okay. (Gage is the one on the right sans t.p.)
