Poor Emma!

Yesterday we went to the dentist for what I thought was to be her last visit until her checkup in November. We were going to get the spacer put on her tooth so they won't shift because of the extraction. As soon as the dentist opens her mouth he says uh oh tooth number something something is going to need an extraction! He motions for me to come see and there is a huge abscess on the gums where her shiny silver tooth is! He warned us that this was a possibility.

So he put the spacer on and sent her to another room to be given gas and a local anesthetic so he could pull her shiny tooth out! She really was good for all that trauma - well not really she screamed the whole time - but I felt so bad for her! So we have to go back in 2 weeks to get her other spacer put on....and then hopefully we won't go back until their November check ups! And she still thinks she's getting more silver teeth..........................
